Talk’n Turkey Expo in Howards Grove, Wisconsin

Hey all you Wisconsin turkey hunters!  In conjunction with the 6th annual Howard’s Grove Rod & Gun Club Learn To Hunt turkeys, this year on Saturday, March 30,2013, we are going to have Talk’n Turkey Expo.  It is going to be a night of turkey talk, shopping,  and swapping stories with fellow hunters.

Speakers are:

Dave Constantine- nationally recognized for the most beautiful calls you
will ever see, and recently featured on this website for hunting
tactics.
Dan Widert- local DNR biologist will talk about turkey biology.  Something I feel is very important.  The better you know the
game you are pursuing the more successful you will be.
Scott Hembrook- talking to the beginners on what calls to use.
Shane Simpson- locator calls, the types and when to use them.
Brian Lovett- editor of Turkey & Turkey Hunting Magazine and has over  20 years of turkey hunting experience.  He has hunted all across the country with many well known names in turkey hunting.  He judges call maker competitions, and has completed a grand slam.  His blog on the website is Turkey Scratchings, with features things like Decision Time.
Randy  Platz- owner of Advanced Whitetail Hunting, food plots and there use for attracting and holding turkeys, they’re not just for deer.

Charlie Elk and Turkey Dog Vic will be there talking about turkey dogging. Most are looking forward to meeting Vic; charlie is just a bonus.  An active member of the Turkey & Turkey Hunting Forum, and one of the most knowledgable turkey guys you will ever meet.  He is a very active fall turkey dogger and will be bringing his hunting partner Vic they’ll will be speaking about turkey dogging.
